Darren Helm will not play tonight's game against Phoenix. He is suffering from a wrist injury. Kris Newbury has been called up from Grand Rapids to replace him.

The injury doesn't appear to be serious but this adds another player to the list of banged up Wings, including Johan Franzen, Niklas Kronwall, Valtteri Filppula, Dan Cleary and Jason Williams. The positive aspect of this is that the younger players are showing promise and keeping this team above water.
